堪称neo-colonialism manifesto…剪掉故事情节大概是很好的architecture/landscape documentary，经历地理与心灵双重迷失的欧洲人在古老神秘的东方智慧引领下获得疗愈的叙事+暗示第三世界（影片中对香港的portrayal比流行文化中香港的常见形象阴暗、落寞许多）的社会郁结可以被来自先进文明的德先生拯救，连冒犯人都在落入俗套。

There’s a kind of flatness in this docu-fiction. The director juxtaposed a European country life with a hectic life in an Asian city with unrest, but few meaningful comparisons and connections are made beyond the usual city/country dichotomy. The Asian experience is much based on stereotypes. Other themes of the film are rather disintegrated.

导演以一个纯粹的外国人视角给观众带入香港的焦虑，叙事手法很讨喜，大多是平和的landscape & cityscape，以及母亲在陌生国度漫无目的的游走，有点迷失东京的感觉
